Samuthirakani will play a Madurai don in Vishal's next

Actor-filmmaker Samuthirakani will feature in actor Vishal Krishna Reddy's yet untitled Tamil film in a full-length role of a Madurai-based don.

Actor-filmmaker Samuthirakani will feature in actor Vishal Krishna Reddy's yet untitled Tamil film in a full-length role of a Madurai-based don. He has worked in Tamil films like Saattai and Poraali and mostly plays character roles.

Samuthirakani is said to undergo a make-over to play a don.

"The story is set against Madurai, and Samuthirakani plays the local don. He's expected to undergo a make-over for the role. Director Suseenthiran was impressed with Samuthirakani's recent roles and he felt he'd be perfect for this role," said a source from the film's unit.

Vishal will be seen as an undercover police officer in the film, which also stars Kajal Aggarwal.

The film, which went on floors a couple of weeks ago, marks the second time collaboration of Vishal and Suseenthiran after Pandiya Naadu.
