The film has four love stories connected by one woman played by Sushmita Sen.

"I don't think Nirbaak can be remade in Hindi or any other language. The film's essence is pretty Bengali. Moreover, it is not even needed to be presented in any other language because the film's name is Nirbaak which means speechless," said the actor in Mumbai Friday during the premiere of the film for her Hindi film industry friends.

"There are very few dialogues in the film. So, anybody not only from the country but from the world can understand the film," she added.

Directed by Srijit Mukherji, the film was released in Kolkata on May 1 while it released in rest of the country on Friday.
