Tholi Prema weekend box office collections: Varun Tej and Raashi Khanna starrer has reportedly earned Rs 17 crore in its first weekend.
Varun Tej and Raashi Khanna’s romantic film Tholi Prema has begun its run at the box office on a high note. With the help of positive reviews and great word of mouth, the film has made a dent at the box office, picking up Rs 17 crore in its first weekend (worldwide collections). On Day 1, according to a report in Andhra Boxoffice, the film was off to a good start and earned Rs 9.6 crore at the box office.
At the USA box office, the film entered the top 25 films. Thursday preview shows earned approximately Rs 98 lakhs, and on Friday the film collected Rs 1.8 crore. The film has held well throughout the weekend, not seeing much of a dip.
Directed by Venky Atluri, the film is produced by Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateswara Creations. The producer has been having great luck at minting money at the box office, after all his six films in 2017 had a great run at the box office.
The film’s music, composed by SS Thaman, has received a great response from the audience and was one of the reasons why the film has managed to attract audiences to the theatres.
Varun Tej was last seen in the super hit film Fidaa starring debutante Sai Pallavi. The film received good reviews unanimously and also served as a big break for the lead actors. Raashi Khanna was seen in Ravi Teja’s film Touch Chesi Choodu, that released early in February.
