Vignesh Shivn eagerly looking forward to work with Sivakarthikeyan
Sivakarthikeyan’s might begin shooting for Vignesh Shivn directorial later this year.
Following the success of Suriya’s Thaana Serntha Kootam, the remake of Special 26, its director Vignesh Shivn is all set to team up with Sivakarthikeyan. While it was long announced that Vignesh will team up with Sivakarthikeyan for a project for Studio Green, little has been known about the project. Talking to popular online entertainment portal Behindwoods, Vignesh has opened up about the film and why he’s excited about it. The yet-untitled project is expected to roll from later this year.
“For a long time, I’ve been trying to work with Sivakarthikeyan because I feel there is some kind of connect. Even before Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, I had narrated a different script to him. But at that time he was busy with Maan Karate and other films, and even I got busy with some other work. Now, I think everything is coming together. We are in talks, the script discussion is on and an official announcement will come soon. Once he is okay with the script, the announcement will come from their side.”
Sivakarthikeyan, on the other hand, is currently wrapping up Ponram’s rural entertainer. He’s expected to commence work on Ravi Kumar’s yet-untitled science-fiction film, which will have music by AR Rahman, from April or May. It’s quite possible that Siva might shoot for Ravi Kumar’s film and the project with Vignesh simultaneously.
