The singer-actor has written all the songs in the film.

Written & directed by R Velraj, Vellai Illa Pattadhari (Unemployed Graduate) is a romantic action entertainer. The music for the film is scored by Anirudhh Ravichander and has singing with legendary singer S. Janaki.

Velraj is an award-winning cinematographer of Polladhavan, Aadukalam, 3, Enegyum Epodhum and Ethir Neechal fame. Vellai Illa Pattadhari marks his debut as writer and director.

The film also features Vivek, Saranya Ponvannan, Samuthirakani and Anita Ratnam.
