Naomi Campbell apologises for maid attack
Supermodel Naomi Campbell regrets her behaviour with maid Ana Scolavino last year.
Supermodel Naomi Campbell has rendered an apology for the first time for attacking her maid last year in New York, and has revealed that she is undergoing treatment to control her aggressive behaviour.
The 36-year-old said that she has a deep sense of regret for throwing a crystal-covered phone at her maid, Ana Scolavino, who had to get stitches on her head.
“I have a deep sense of shame,” The Sun quoted her, as saying.
Campbell also said that weariness, ‘lack of sleep’ and ‘just so many things’ led to the unfortunate happening in January 2006.
She added that she does therapy regularly, for her violent behaviour has been very destructive to her, and that she really did not know how to seek help.
“I do therapy every day. I was really being destructive to myself. I didn’t know how to ask for help,” she added.
