MUMBAI: Defending champions Mumbai included youngster Armaan Jaffer into their squad for the Ranji Trophy season opener against Tamil Nadu at Lahli from October 6 to 9.

This is the first time that the 19-year-old, who is the nephew of former India cricketer Wasim Jaffer, has been picked in the squad. Armaan recently slammed 66 against the touring New Zealand side. Mumbai, though, will miss services of Shreyas Iyer and Siddhesh Lad because of injuries.
