PAWANA LAKE, LONAVALA: Harshita Tomar of the National Sailing School (NSS), Bhopal, put in a stunning performance to pull ahead of TNSA’s Chitresh Tatha and gain the lead in the Optimist Class at the Wet-n-Wild Regatta.

In the Laser Radial class, Ramya Sarvanan of the Corps of Engineers Sailing Club, Pune, came second on Sunday, ahead of Israj Ali of EME Sailing Association, Secundrabad.

EASY FOR DAV PUBLIC

MUMBAI: DAV Public School, Airoli and Ryan International School, Sanpada both scored comfortable wins in their respective senior boys second round team championship matches in the 11Even Sports Inter-School Table Tennis State Championships.

Team championship: Senior Boys: Maharashtra Mandal bt Lokhandwala Foundation 3-0; Smt Singhania bt Ryan Int, Malad 3-0; Rustomjee International bt Smt KC Gandhi 3-0; Ryan Int’l, Sanpada bt Poddar Int’l, Powai 3-1; Utpal Sanghvi bt Navy Children 3-0; DAV, Airoli bt Poddar, Powai 3-0.
