RIO DE JANEIRO: South Korea’s ace archer Ki Bo-Bae gave an insight into her dedication when she revealed that her sport was the last thing she thought of at night. Ki, who is aiming to become the first archer to retain an individual Olympic title, said she thought such devotion was necessary to stay at the top of her sport. “When it’s time for me to sleep, I always think about archery,” she said. “That is why I can stay on top.” In South Korea, competition is intense in the archery world, and Ki was the only competitor to retain her place in the team from 2012 — despite their winning three out of four gold medals.
