The Indian football team's chances of qualifying for the AFC under-16 Championships suffered a blow after the team was handed 0-9 thrashing by Uzbekistan in Tashkent on Wednesday.
India will now have to win their final qualifying match against Tajikistan to grab a berth in the final phase of the competition. India stay on six points from three matches while Uzbekistan moved to the top of the Group with six points from two matches.
