In the first round, Bopanna will be tested by Australian teenager and wildcard entrant Bernard Tomic. If he manages to cross the hurdle, he will play Serbian Viktor Troicki, with whom he ran up to five sets in the Davis Cup last weekend. Devvarman, on the other hand, must get past Frenchman Adrian Mannarino in the opening round to play 19th-seeded Marcos Baghdatis next.
