US Champion Austin Theory credits two WWE stars for his rise
Despite his stardom, Theory acknowledges the people who have helped him rise in his career at WWE.
WWE US Champion Austin Theory is set to defend his title against John Cena in WrestleMania 39 in April this year. Ahead of the title clash, Theory decimated Montez Ford in a one-on-one match in the latest episode of RAW.

Despite his stardom, Theory acknowledges the people who have helped him rise in his career. On a recent episode of WWE's "After the Bell" podcast, Theory acknowledged the support of fellow wrestlers who have been his pillar of support. He singled out Jey Uso and MVP as two colleagues who have been especially instrumental in his growth.
The US Champion reminisced how his equation with Jey developed.
"I would say it was around a year ago, or maybe two years ago, but I started doing the dark matches and then eventually got on the main roster, and then everything kind of took off," said Theory.
The US Champion further highlighted how he came across Jey on recent episode of WWE RAW. Theory shared how he still seeks help of Jey as The Bloodline member is very experienced.
"This past Monday, passing him in the hall, he's like, 'Good stuff out there.' [He's] always keeping an eye and even if I don't see him, I'll always message him like, 'What do you think?' and he's just a veteran of the game. He's been there for a long, long time. So, it's always good to have somebody like that to help," added Theory.
Earlier, Theory had won the 2023 WWE Elimination Chamber match to punch his ticket for The Show Of Shows. WrestleMania 39 is set to take place in a two-night premium event on Saturday, April 1 and Sunday, April 2.
