Movie legend James Stewart was forced to bed hookers to prove that he was not gay.
According to contactmusic.com, movie mogul Louis B. Mayer supposedly made Stewart prove he was not gay before offering him a film deal by sending him off to prostitutes. These claims are made by author Marc Elliot in the book "Jimmy Stewart - A Biography".
Elliot also claims that Stewart was so charged by the sexual experience that it sparked a string of romances with Hollywood's leading ladies.
