Preity Zinta, who has turned producer with her film Ishkq in Paris, has slammed reports suggesting that her debut project has no takers. “There is no truth to these reports. A story published in a daily recently, had wrong facts. I’m totally ignoring that report. I don’t want any negativity around me. This is a very special film. I have just got its full copy. I’m very happy with the film. We will be making the announcement about its release very soon,” she tells us.

It was reported that the actor, last seen in Heroes (2008), is demanding a whopping sum of R20 crores for the film and no buyer is willing to shell out that much money. The film stars newbie Rhehan Malliek opposite Preity. The 38-year-old, who was in the Capital recently, has lost quite a bit of weight, and looked stunning as she posed in a one-shoulder black sequined gown with a thigh-high slit. Asked what the secret to this shapely figure is, the actor reveals, “This is because of Ishkq in Paris. I lost a lot of weight for it. Also, to look good, I recommend that you stay happy and sleep well.”

Preity, who co-owns an IPL team, is looking forward to the sixth season of the tournament. Talking about her cricketer friends, she says, “I’m friends with many of them, but Yuvraj (Singh) and Brett (Lee) are my close friends. These are friends for life. I have known them even before IPL started.” Initially, both these players were a part of the actor’s team but eventually shifted to other teams.
