20,000 new water connections in Gurugram are without meters

This was revealed after a meeting in this regard took place between MCG and HSVP officials in Chandigarh on Thursday.
A three-year delay in transfer of water connection from the Haryana Shahri Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP) to the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG) has led to loss of revenue and water because the new water connections—estimated to be around 20,000— given out during this time could not be fitted with meters, civic official said.
