Visit Goa, Bengaluru, Shirdi, Mysore for just ₹1,000 a day

Wishing to visit Goa, Bengaluru, Mysore or Shirdi with your family this July? Pack your bags since the Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) is offering an economical 12-day Bharat Darshan special tour package.

The 12-day, 11-night package scheduled for July 17 to July 28 will cost 1,000 per day person and a total of 11,340.

The IRCTC package will cover seven destinations including Ujjain, Omkareshwer, Shirdi, Goa, Hampi, Mysore and Bangalore. In Ujjain, a visit of Mahakaleshwar Jyotirling and Omkareshwar Jyotirling has been planned. In Shirdi, a visit to Shirdi Sai Baba Temple has been scheduled. There will be a night halt in Goa and Mysore.

The Bharat darshan special tourist train (NZBD223) will depart from Chandigarh railway station on July 17 at 7am. The boarding/de-boarding railway points will be Chandigarh, Ambala, Kurukshetra, Karnal, Panipat, Delhi Cantt, Rewari, Alwar and Jaipur.

The package will include facilities such as journey by second sleeper class, accommodation in non-AC dormitories/hall, vegetarian food (breakfast, lunch and dinner), tour escort and security on train and tourist buses for visiting tourist spots.

IRCTC regional office spokesperson, Shubham Arya said, “In Bharat Darshan special train, we have 800 seats, bookings of which have begun and we are receiving a good response."

The official added that the Bharat Darshan trains will have a total of 11 coaches.

Bookings for the Bharat Darshan special tourist train is available online on the official website of IRCTC and also at the zonal office in Sector 34. They can also contact the zonal office at 0172-4645795.
