Kid slips through White House fence, Secret Service agent nabs him in viral video: ‘He wanted to play with lil X’
Secret Service spokesperson Anthony Guglielmi said that the US Secret Service Uniformed Division officers returned the kid to his parents “without incident”.
The US Secret Service sprang into action after a kid managed to slip through the iron fencing surrounding the White House, briefly breaching the perimeter. A video of the incident has surfaced online, capturing one of the agents carrying back the curious explorer to reunite him with his parents.
“A child just breached the perimeter of the White House. He was small enough to fit through the fence posts. Secret Service picked him up and brought him back to his family ‘without incident’. It’ll be a great party story for the rest of his life,” an X user wrote while sharing the video.

In the clip, an agent in uniform is seen carrying a child. He crosses the lawn to hand the kid over to another agent who then takes him to his parents.

People were amused by this little one’s antics. Jokingly, an individual wrote, “He was testing their response time,“ referencing the Secret Service. Another added, “Future president.
A third commented, “Once, as a 6/7yo child, I ‘found’ an insanely huge gem/diamond looking thing at the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History. It was on the floor. It wasn’t light, I carried it around in my pocket for like, 3 hours. My dad was a chaperone, and at the end we stopped in the gift store. He asked me if I wanted anything, and I said? ‘No, I found something way cooler than anything here’ dad was like, ‘what did you find?’ I pulled out this huge glittery thing, and my dad was like, ‘W*F!!! Where did you get that?!?’ I had to give it back. I still give dad s**t like, pops- ‘I could have solved that money thing like two decades ago’.” A fourth expressed, “He probably wanted to play with little X.”

Secret Service spokesperson Anthony Guglielmi addressed the incident on X and wrote, “Just after 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, U.S. Secret Service Uniformed Division officers observed a child slip through the White House north fence.” He added, “Officers quickly reunited the child with their parents without incident.”
