A tech YouTuber’s wife came up with a ‘jugaad’ and helped him save tons of money on a projector screen.

Indians always devise a hack or fix using limited resources to a problem even in the face of adversity. And this particular post aptly amplifies this. It shows how a tech YouTuber’s wife came up with a ‘jugaad’ and helped him save ‘20-25k’ on a projector screen. Thinking about what she did? Well, she took a bedsheet and pinned it with four clips.

“Jugaad: I was telling my wife we can install a rollable motorised projector screen in the room... It will cost around 20-25k. She pulled out this sheet with 4 clips and said watch on this!” wrote YouTuber Geeky Ranjit while sharing a few pictures on Twitter. The pictures shared by the YouTuber show the makeshift projector screen attached to their wardrobe.

Take a look at the pictures below:

Since being shared on March 19, the tweet has raked over 4.7 lakh views and more than 7,200 likes. Many even shared their thoughts in the comments section. While many lauded the wife’s ingenuity that helped her husband save thousands of rupees, others suggested using a grey bed sheet for ‘better blacks and contrast in ambient light’.

Check out some reactions below:

“But you have a dedicated theatre that you newly built, right,” posted a Twitter user. To this, Ranjit replied and wrote, “Sunday lazy syndrome.... Feeling lazy to go to the Home theatre room. Actually, we were planning to watch it outdoors, but... It’s wet because of the rains and mosquito issue.” Another added, “She saved you 20-25k.... so that you can take her to her favourite shopping place... Good luck.” A third shared, “Intelligent man, intelligent wife.” A fourth expressed, “Wo wo wohhh, that is next level jugad.” “Use a grey sheet. It will give better blacks and contrast in ambient light compared to white. Also, a 96” motorised screen will cost less than 10k. (Not talking retail),” commented a fifth.
