Adventurous in moderation
Nethra Raghuraman who is hosting Apollo Flight of the Hawkz, a new show on National Geographic Channel says, "I’m intrinsically adventurous."
She may have won the first season of the reality show

Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi
(KKK), but Nethra Raghuraman says you “won’t find me jumping off cliffs every second week”.
The model-actress, who is hosting
Apollo Flight of the Hawkz
, a new show on National Geographic Channel says, “I’m intrinsically adventurous. Once, I ran outside to click pictures during a tornado.” One thing she rules out, though, is eating anything that moves. “I’m a vegan, and I won’t do a show like
Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao
, where you have to eat gross stuff. I’m adventurous, but I’m not stupid enough to do that,” she says.
Nethra adds that while the girls on the first season of
KKK
were very professional, “the contestants participating in the second season were crying a lot”. “The drama appeals, but it’s not something I agree with,” she says. Nethra also shares her opinion on foreign models entering the Indian fashion circuit. “When more and more people come, they are prepared to work for lesser money. When money becomes the criteria for picking somebody up, instead of quality, the profession suffers.”
