, has finally done away with her specs. Not too many knew that Tripathi had a high number and wore glasses off screen and lens on-screen. The actress recently underwent a lasik laser surgery under doctor Himanshu Mehta.

Buzz is that since the surgery she has been spending quality time with boyfriend Sharad Malhotra, who was also her co-star in the soap. He took off on a longish break to the US after the show ended. While the actress kept a low profile and made one-off appearances on different shows, Malhotra is back after completing a detailed course in acting.
