Gaurav Chopra might not openly talk about being in a relationship with Surveen Chawla (though insiders confirm it). But that isn’t stopping him from dropping hints about their proximity. The actor recently got a haircut which he claims was thanks to the new girl in his life, who urged him to experiment with his look.

Gaurav, who is currently seen in the popular TV show Uttaran, got a new hairdo after sporting long locks for over a year. He says, “A really hot-looking person told me to get a haircut.” While he remains mysterious, he says he doesn’t mind us reading between the lines.

The actor goes on to add, “The long locks became a part of my identity. I used to have short hair in one of my earlier shows, Left Right Left, but the long-haired look became so popular that people don’t remember the older haircut. And now, the reactions I have got for this vary from surprise to shock. The Uttaran team was concerned that I looked younger than the next generation on the show.”

Gaurav recently showed off his toned physique during a performance at an awards function. He was surprised when his colleagues and friends cheered him on. “Ayub (Khan; co-actor in Uttaran) joked that had he known earlier that I was taking off my shirt, he would have joined me on stage and kissed me,” laughs the actor. Surveen hasn’t seen the show, so he plans to show her a recording soon to get her reaction.
