Getting all this publicity and status is a new thing for Manveer: Aakanksha

Actor and Bigg Boss 10 contestant Aakanksha Sharmaa says that ex-housemate Manveer Gurjar is yet to get used to his newly found fame.

Actor Aakanksha Sharmaa feels her ex-housemate and the winner of the reality show Bigg Boss 10, Manveer Gurjar is yet to get accustomed to his newly found fame and it is thus, he is making nasty comments about her.

Actor Aakanksha Sharmaa says she prefers to focus on her work instead of worrying about what others say.

The rumours about their link-up became the talk of the town a while back, but Akanksha had denied them saying that she would rather date a frog than him. To this, Gurjar retorted by saying: “It’s great, if Aakanksha feels like dating an animal. She said that she would rather date a frog than me but she should first ask the frog, if it will date her.”

This has not gone down well with her. She says, “I’m happy with the frog. For him (Manveer) getting all this publicity and status is a new thing and he is not used to this. May be, he is unable to handle this. I wish him all the very best. I hope he finds his princess, I am definitely not looking for anyone and focussing on my work. I’d rather not be linked up to anyone right now,” says Aakanksha.

She feels people should stop paying attention to this argument now.“ I don’t know why are people losing their mind over this. This seems to be going on and on like a game of badminton. There is no grudge of my side and I really don’t care about him. To each his own. I want to move on in my life. Bigg Boss was a show I did in the past and I want to move on with my life and focus on my work. Instead of getting in to what he said, I would rather focus my energies on my work,” she says.
