Hiten to play photographer in Jasuben...

It is learnt that JD Majethia, the producer, zeroed in on actor Hiten Tejwani after receiving fan mails pleading with him to cast him in the serial.

After portraying the loyal and heroic Karan twice over in Kyunki Saas bhi Kabhi Bahu thi and Kahaani Hamaarey Mahabharat ki, Hiten Tejwani will now be seen in Jasuben Jayantilal ki Joint Family.

The light-hearted family drama airs on NDTV Imagine and is produced by Hats Off Productions. It is learnt that JD Majethia, the producer, zeroed in on Tejwani after receiving fan mails pleading with him to do so.

Tejwani will play a photographer from Australia. He comes down to meet a childhood friend and is Shonali’s (Jaya Binju) fiancé in the daily. Buzz is that it’s not a cameo but a full-fledged role.

Tejwani makes his entry next week.
