National and international IPL players have signed on for the show hosted by actor Akshay Kumar.

Come September 2010, and we may see MS Dhoni pick locks underwater or Shane Warne eat worms on the popular show.

TV channel Colors is refusing to divulge which cricketers have signed on. Programming head Ashvini Yardi confirmed the new season will be called the IPL Fear Factor Edition. “Cricket is a religion in our country and the idea was to bring out the mass appeal attached to IPL,” she said.

Shooting will take place from September to December to avoid any clash with the IPL season.

In 2009 babes of Indian television fought it out in the South African wild.

, an initiative to capitalise on the entertainment value of the IPL and reality TV.

The international format of the show includes stunts that require participants to eat creepy crawlies such as snakes, spiders and even bull testicles and whale sperm.
