It’s unlikely that you would not ever skip a beat when you see Madhuri's evergreen smile or simply hear her giggle on television. Ask the diva herself about how she possibly manages to look so perfect, all the time, her reply gives it away.

Whether you are 16 or 60, it’s unlikely that you don’t ever skip a beat when you see her evergreen smile or simply hear her giggle on television. But ask the diva herself about how she possibly manages to look so graceful and perfect, all the time, and Madhuri Dixit replies with her inherent humility, “Really? Is it? I don’t know... I mean, what do I say... I don’t try hard to look graceful.”

Once a dancing star herself, Mads also surprises you with her humility when she openly showers praises on today’s actors and their dancing skills. “I love watching Priyanka (Chopra) on screen. Even Kareena and Sonakshi are great dancers I feel. And I loved watching Anushka’s (Sharma) dance in that Ainvi Ainvi... song,” says the 46-year-old, who herself scorched the screen with her Ghaghra song with actor Ranbir Kapoor in Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, recently. We ask her if she is doing a dance act in the sequel of Dil. “Oh no! I don’t know from where these rumours are coming,” clarifies Madhuri, who was the reigning queen of Bollywood for over a decade during the 90s till she married and settled in the US.

Last year, the actor relocated back to India with her husband Dr Shriram Nene and sons, Arin and Rayaan. Do the kids get excited when they see her films? “Oh ya, they get very excited, especially because these days they see me on TV frequently. ‘Mama’s on TV’ they start shouting around the house,” says the doting mum, giggling.

Currently judging the final leg of Color’s popular dance reality show, Jhalak Dikhla Jaa, Madhuri feels that singer Shaan and TV actor Drashti Dhami are the two surprise talents, this season. “I never thought that Shaan could reach this far... to the finals! His dance is as good as his singing! And Drashti initially used to be this scared girl on the show, and look at her confidence now!” says Madhuri.
