where preparations for Taanya and her lover Tej’s wedding were in full swing. Taanya got married into a family that consisted of only men. “It’s going to be very tough to handle seven men in my

sasuraal

(parents-in-law’s house) without the guidance of my

saas

(mother-in-law)” says Aishwarya Sakhuja (Taanya).

The wedding planners were played by Anushka Sharma (Shruti) and Ranveer Singh (Bittoo) who are the lead actors of

Band Baja Baraat

. They also performed for the show. Actor Tanushree Dutta also performed at the reel couple’s wedding reception.

“The environment on the sets was so emotional that I actually felt like I was getting married and moving away from my family. All the crying scenes were shot without any help of glycerin, I have shed actual tears,” laughs Sakhuja.

About her own wedding, Sakhuja admits that every girl wishes to marry into a family that is similar to her own. “I have no plans to get married for the next five years, but when I do, I want all my in-laws present.”

Her character, Taanya, is a jolly girl on the show, but in real life, Sakhuja says she’s completely different. “It takes me time to adjust to new people. Taanya may have 15 best friends, but I have very few,” she says.
