He’s now officially Rakhi Sawant’s fiance, so it’s no wonder that Toronto -based Elesh Parujanwala is on a high. Having elbowed 2000 contestants out of the way to bag her hand in Rakhi Ka Swayamvar, does he feel like ‘the man’? “Pretty much. Yeah, you can say that… I’m the man.” Parujanwala, who got engaged to Rakhi on the show on Sunday, says, “I feel relaxed… there’s a sense of contentment. It feels absolutely right.”

He says that though Sawant wanted to marry him right there and then, he chose not to take that step. “Essentially, what I know of her is only with the cameras on… with her make-up and her get-up. I still have to know what’s her routine like, whether she is a morning person… stuff like that. Plus, I’m still setting up my company in Mumbai and I want to give it some time,” he explains. Currently brushing up his Hindi skills, he says, “If she can make it to my sister’s wedding in Toronto, I would love to take her on a weekend getaway of sorts.”

As for what he thinks of Rakhi’s over-the-top antics, he quips, “She’s honest, not over the top… which is why I feel the way I do for her.” We ask the most obvious question on everyone’s mind; Does he love her? “I do,” comes the prompt reply!
