‘I would love to do comedy’

TV actress Rucha Gujarati is back on the small screen after two long years with STAR One’s new show Rang Badalti Odhani. This time, the actress says, “I’d love to do comedy. It’s difficult to make people laugh.”

Her next reality show, Desi Girls on Imagine, where she lives a rustic life in a Punjab village along with seven other Bollywood bombshells, could be an attempt at that.

Rucha admits that her big screen debut, Lottery, alongside singer Abhijeet Sawant last year, didn’t do as well as she expected. But that hasn’t deterred her from experimenting.

“Apart from acting, I am doing a course in fashion designing. I don’t come from a family of actors and had to struggle to earn my place. My hard work has paid off,” she says.
