Kyun ki... rishton key bhi roop badaltehai... Remember the melodious soundtrack of Star Plus' daily soap Kyunkii Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. The track in a way sums up a lot of what is happening inside the ever-newsy kingdom of small-screen's K Queen.

The six- year-long gurushishya relationship between Ektaa Kapoor and Smriti Z Irani is over And in yet another important K-show Kasautii Zindagi Kay, the lead actor Cezanne Khan has moved out.

So what does Ektaa have to say? According to the grapevine, the lady is far from happy with Smriti's latest success innings. Smriti has three shows running right now and two more are are in the offing.

Says an insider, "Ektaa co-produced Thodi Si Zameen Thoda SaAasman with Smriti but soon Ektaa pulled out. Also, Smriti had started working on Virrudh and the show is a success now."

On to Cezanne, and the gossip becomes spicier. While Ektaa maintains that, it is a part of the "plot development", a unit member reveals that Cezanne is bored with the show. "He had asked for a break, also he now aspires to begin his film career".

Well both the shows are in for a major change in the storyline. Tulsi will meet with yet another K-accident and a very predictable plastic surgery will make way for the new Tulsi.

Both Smriti Irani and Cezanne Khan remained unavailable for comments. To put it in K-jargon yeh hai kahaani ghar ghar ki. Rajeev Khandelwal: "I wanted to grow and that is why I opted for new horizons." Shweta Kwatra: "It was just part of a bigger career move."

Amarr Upadhyay: He did not want his screen self to age when there was a time jump. Kiran Karmakar: "I want to die as Kiran Karmakar and not as Om Aggarwal." Goodbye.
