WWE’s biggest wrestling stars are being paid a bomb to debut in an Indian reality TV show Rajesh Ahuja reports.
Indian TV stars now have competition from these lords of the ring’ An Indian reality TV show is set to sign on three of the biggest names in WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) —John Cena, Batista and Randy Orton, for their new season.

The show, 100% De Dhana Dhan, didn’t have a successful bout in its first season. Understandably, in Season 2 it has gone in for a makeover.
Sources say that the show, hosted by actor Sharat Saxena and the sultry Eesha Koppikhar as the judge, will npw feature international WWE stars.
“John Cena and Batista have been finalised, talks are on with Orton. The stars will add the much-needed hype to the show,” says the source.
The first season had Indian pehelwaans sweating it out against South African wrestlers. Fights were shot in India and Johannesburg. Parts of season two, scheduled to go on floors early next year, may be shot in the US.
The WWE stars, who have tremendous fan following in India, are being paid huge money, for the show. “They will take home Rs 2.5 crore each,” reveals the source.
Indian fans are super-excited with the news.
|“The first season was dull. With Batista coming in, there should be a lot more dhamaka,” says Minakshi Sharma, an avid WWE fan.
The new season, will also feature the best of 12 Indian wrestlers who were a part of the first season. Confirming the plans, Sonia Huria, manager, communications, Colors, says, “Yes, we are bringing in WWE superstars for the show’s second outing. That’s all I can say at the moment.”
