Ajay Devgn went to jail?
Not many know that Vindu Dara Singh is close friends with actor Ajay Devgn, and recently on a TV show, he revealed some secrets of the star. Apparently, when Vindu met Ajay’s fan on Live My Life, he shared with the latter an amazing story of a time when Ajay, Vindu and their gang of friends got into trouble on holiday many years ago.

They were driving on Carter Road and stopped to purchase alcohol. The police, on spotting the boys and their van, were convinced that they were up to no good and arrested them. Ajay kept trying to persuade the police to let them go, but nothing happened. Finally, Vindu called his father, the late Dara Singh and sorted out the matter.

Gala opportunity
Prerna Wanwari is on cloud nine as she is one of the lucky few to be chosen as a presenter for the International Emmy Awards Gala on November 19 in New York. Thrilled to bits, the actor says, “I am delighted to have been given this opportunity. It is a great honour to be on a platform where some of the world’s finest producers, directors, and actors are recognised.” One of the members of the academy presented her credentials to the academy and the board approved of her. Simone Singh and Anuj Saxena had earlier represented India at the awards.

Decoding body language
Fans want to know it all about their stars. And in a new show on UTV Stars called Baatein Ankahin, they will get to do just that. In the show, video clips of events in Bollywood and the entertainment industry at large will be deconstructed by a group of experts. These experts will analyse the body language of celebs who are always guarded in public, and decipher their verbal and non-verbal cues. So audiences will probably soon get to know what goes on in Salman Khan’s mind when he folds his shirt sleeve before a tete-a-tete, or when Saif Ali Khan deliberately lowers his voice on being asked a tricky question. The show goes on air on November 10.
