Madhubala to feature royal vintage car

The makers of the Colors’ new show Madhubala have not only chosen the grandest locations to do justice to the show’s theme which is based on the film industry, but also incorporated several props to give the show a larger than life feel.

The makers of the Colors’ new show Madhubala have not only chosen the grandest locations to do justice to the show’s theme which is based on the film industry, but also incorporated several props to give the show a larger than life feel. The opening sequence of the show, which will go on air this Monday at 8.30 pm, will feature a 152-year-old royal vintage car that belongs to the Nizam of Hyderabad.

Apparently, the makers requested the royal family to lend them the nizam’s canary yellow 1850 Buick. Since the nizam himself used to travel in this car, they were initially reluctant, but later agreed.

“We wanted a a car that matched the status of the character played by Raj Zutshi. A team from the royal family was present throughout the shoot to make sure the car was handled well,” says producer Saurabh Tiwari.
