“Naagin is a trendsetter on Indian television. There are very few roles in an actress’s life that they cherish for a lifetime, for me, that role is that of Shivanya. I am elated to reunite with the Naagin family for the finale of season three and celebrate the success of this trailblazing show. Surbhi and I are recreating Sridevi’s popular song, ‘Main Teri Dushman’, from the 1986 film, Nagina. It is an honour for us to be recreate one of Bollywood’s most iconic song,” the tabloid quoted Mouni as saying.

Mouni will next be seen alongside Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhat and Amitabh Bachchan in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra. She is currently working with Rajkummar Rao in Made In China, where she is likely to feature in a recreated version of the Gujratai folk song, Odhni Odhu. Directed by Mikhil Musale, the film is a comedy slated to release on August 30. She will also romance Nawazuddin Siddiqqui in Bole Chudiyan.
