Following a scooter accident, their mother has been in a comatose state for the last nine months. She’s unaware that her boys are being applauded, week after week, on the dance reality show.

This week, Karthik performed to Meri maa… and at the end of his act, there were tears in everyone’s eyes. Even Rani Mukherji was so moved she needed to take a ‘break’ to compose herself. The Queen of Hearts then folded her hands reverently to appreciate the effort.
