have become the first daily soaps that will run throughout the week. The shows were initially running from Monday to Thursday and were recently given an additional day. Now, the soaps will be seen everyday in their regular prime time slot on Star Plus.

A channel insider, on condition of anonymity, says that this extension has been made to compete with

Bigg Boss 3

on Colors, that airs in the same slot as these two shows.

The source adds that these are also the channel’s flagship shows and have been fetching high ratings for the past year and a half. Competition seems to be getting tough. Hmm.
