Paul Giamatti will play the American playboy and nonconformist Harold Levinson, brother of Cora, played by Elizabeth McGovern, and son of Shirley MacLaine's character. Broadcast since 2010 on ITV, Downton Abbey is widely appreciated in the US, where the fourth season will start on January 5.

Paul Giamatti makes regular appearances on TV, especially on HBO. He recently was in, Too Big to Fail and the mini-series, John Adams, for which he received an Emmy Award in 2008 and a Golden Globe in 2009.
