Salman Khan shot for the promo of Bigg Boss season 12 before he left to Malta for Bharat shoot.
Salman Khan is currently busy shooting for his upcoming film Bharat in Malta. The actor who was last seen in Race 3 is also the host of television show Bigg Boss, and the actor has kickstarted the next season by shooting for a promo video before he left to Malta with his mother Salma and sister Alvira. A picture from the promo shoot was shared by a fan page and we see Salman dressed in denims and gray tee-shirt paired with a red jacket. The theme for this season is ‘jodis’ and hence the actor revisited films that were about jodis.
The Tiger Zinda Hai actor is seen posing with a smile and in the backdrop are posters of films from the 90s, which includes Karan Arjun and Ram Lakhan. According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, a source was quoted as saying, “The channel wanted to announce the theme in an interesting way and he incorporated some of his signature dance moves from popular hits. With the cameras rolling, Salman made an impromptu inclusion of his famous ‘Jawaani Phir Na Aye’ towel step from Mujhse Shaadi Karogi and went on to add the Dabbang hook step. He even hummed his current favourite, ‘Dil Diyan Gallan,’ from Tiger Zinda Hai.”
The report also revealed that this season, the contestants will enter as jodis who are related to each other as husband-wife, mother-in-law and daughter-in-law, boss and employee and so on.
Bigg Boss 12 is expected to be premiered on September 16 on Colors TV. This is the ninth season that Salman would be hosting out of the 12 that have been shot. The first season was hosted by Arshad Warsi, the second by Shilpa Shetty, followed by Amitabh Bachchan in the third season. Salman stepped in as the host of the show for season four. He, however, took a break mid-season and Sanjay Dutt stepped in.
Bigg Boss season 11’s title was won by television actor Shilpa Shinde and her nemesis Hina Khan ended up as the runner-up of the show.
