Shama’s back on television

Shama Sikandar, who shot to fame with Sony’s show Yeh Meri Life Hai, is back on the small screen with YRF TV’s show, Seven.

Shama Sikandar, who shot to fame with Sony’s show Yeh Meri Life Hai, is back on the small screen with YRF TV’s show, Seven. After gaining popularity for her role as Pooja, she went on to try her luck in movies and managed to score some cameos in films like Mann and Prem Agann. She also appeared in some music videos. But nothing could match up to the popularity she got through Yeh Meri Life Hai. It’s no surprise then that the actress is back on the small screen.

Shama will be seen on the sci-fi fiction show from Jan 1, 2010. She will play the role of a superheroine, Shunya. Talking about the comeback, Shama said, “Just like the growth of a daily soap is gradual, so is the process of fame and recognition. I prefer to be on television right now since I am super excited about my new role on the small screen. It’s amazing.”
