An ordinary kid, Lakshmi is made out to be a Devi and is worshipped by the villagers for being their saviour. Despite attempts to try and lead a normal life, she manages nothing. Her father and uncle who extract money from villagers during the weekly Devi Darshans, rule her life.

Lakshmi now has grown into a 21-year-old beautiful girl whose innocence makes her look like a real goddess. Deep down she is like any other girl and dreams of falling in love and getting married. An eternal optimist, Lakshmi always looks at the positive side of everything and believes that her dreams will turn into reality one day. The adult Lakshmi will be portrayed by Dipika Samson.
