Every year, Indian Idol draws participation from millions of young aspirants. This season, two contestants related to well-known music directors too, joined this list, to fulfill their dreams — Madhvi Shrivastav, niece of Aadesh Shrivastav and Subrima Bhaduri, niece of Pritam. Both auditioned for Indian Idol this year, but only Madhvi was able to impress the jury.

Though Madhvi received rave reviews on her performance, she unfortunately got eliminated during the theatre round. Bhaduri failed to make an impression altogether. Even though both are related to prominent music directors and the jury had high expectations from them, they did not make it to the Indian Idol’s shores. We wonder what their uncles have to say about the performances of their nieces. Will these girls get another chance from the jury owing to their influential background?
