TV stars are scooping up big bucks for Navratri events

After the Uri attack, Karan took to Instagram to share his views on Pakistan. The post read, “… Don’t misjudge our silence as our weakness, hum agar apni pe utar aaye toh world map dubaara chaapna padega, iss baar bina pakistan ke ! JAI HIND... Bharat Mata Ki Jai...! (sic)”

The post was criticised by his fans and the audience on social media for its crass language. Karan, therefore, deleted the post, and apologised on Twitter on September 29.

“I understand my earlier posts did hurt a few ppl, I apologise from all my heart, may be the words I chose were incorrect. #ReallySorry .. (sic)!” he tweeted. Another post following it, read, “Once and for all I say it for the last final time, if my previous posts hurt sentiments of ppl then im really sorry did not mean to #BigHug (sic)”

On the same day, he once again posted, “Now that the mind is at ease I realise, more than #Indians or #Pakistanis ... we should strive to grow as Better Human Beings.#IwillBeOne (sic).”
