The festivals of Karva Chauth is here and like the rest of the married couples around the world, television stars will also celebrate them with zeal.
Arjun Bijlani and Neha Swami
“Neha will get her shopping and mehendi done, and is fasting like every year. I am shooting for my show, so I will try to take a half-day or come early as she has to break the fast. Actually there is no ritual of men fasting on Karva Chauth but if there was, I would definitely fast!” says Arjun.
Hunar Hale and Mayank Gandhi
Hunar who will be celebrating her first Karva Chauth says, “I will be celebrating in Mumbai. It’s special because I will learn a lot of things which I have only seen in films. Mayank will take a break from work and come early. Then we will go for dinner.”

“I like Karva Chauth. Life is all about loving your family. It’s a special ritual. I am in Ahmedabad shooting for a film. So it will be a long-distance celebration for us. I will be on call with her while she does the puja. In an industry where marriages break easily, she has been my pillar of strength and compliments my personality completely,” shares Jay.
Annirudh Dave and Shubhi Ahuja
Says Anniurudh, “My wife Shubhi is going to celebrate her first Karva Chauth. She will fast, and will wait for me to break her fast. I am lucky to have her. She is the perfect wife. This is our first Karva Chauth, so it’s special. I have been very unwell after ligament tear while rehearsing for a dance act and am still recovering and juggling between home and shoot. My wife will talk to my mom for the exact ritual details.”
Deepika Singh and Rohit Raj Goyal
“I will be in Delhi with my family for the festival. Rohit will come for two days. I am looking forward to celebrating with him. I am glad that I am not shooting this time around, which means I can spend more time with him,” shares Deepika.
Himanshoo Malhotra and Amruta Khanvilkar
“My Karva Chauth plans are first to buy a gift for my wife so I am still thinking what to get her. She has warned me if I don’t get her a gift, I better be prepared to sleep in the living room. I am thinking of buying a beautiful sari for her since she loves saris,” says Himanshoo.
Karan Patel and Ankita
Karan says, “It’s special and it has always been for us. I hope to get off from work early and come back home to my wife. All the ladies of my house are fasting and the puja will be followed by a good dinner.”
