Why do we think so? Because TV producer JD Majethia posted a photo of the entire cast together and wrote some very promising words.

Fans have waited for this moment for years and it is finally here. There is a good 99.99% chance that the hilarious TV show of the early 2000’s, Sarabhai vs Sarabhai might be coming back.

Why do we think so? Because TV producer JD Majethia posted a photo of the entire cast together and wrote the very promising words, “Sarabhai family at satish ji ‘s place.... Some good news for fans on its way”, with a winking and laughing emoji.

The photo has Ratna Pathak Shah (Maya), her husband and veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah, Satish Shah (Indravadan), Rupali Ganguly (Monisha), Sumeet Raghavan (Sahil), Rajesh Kumar (Roshesh) with JD who also played Himanshu on TV show Khichdi.

If the speculations are true, the show will return to TV screens after 10 years. While director Deven Bhojani (who played Dushyant on the show) had said that there is no chance of a return in 2012, the resolve doesn’t seem so steadfast anymore.

Sarabhai vs Sarabhai ran on Star Plus from 2004 to 2006 and told the story of an upper class family in Mumbai who bring home a middle class daughter-in-law. The family often ran into one problematic situation after another but emerged stronger after each one.
