In these days of over-the-top wedding celebrations, here’s a couple from the entertainment industry who decided to keep it as low-key as they could. TV actor Mihika Verma, best known for her role in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, tied the knot on April 27 in a secret wedding. She announced her marital status by sharing a picture on her Facebook page.

Clad in a pretty red lehenga, the actor poses with a friend in the picture. Another image doing rounds on social media shows Mihika with her husband, an NRI businessman.

Reportedly, Mihika quit the hit show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein because of her wedding plans.

Mihika won the Miss India International title in 2004. She started her career with the TV serial Viruddh and went on to work in several in popular TV soaps like Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil and Kitani Mohabbat Hai. In Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, she played the role of Mihika, Ishita’s (Divyanka Tripathi) cousin.
