‘Alternatives costlier’:Report reveals what India told U.S about Russian weapons

A Bloomberg report has claimed that India has clarified to the U.S on its reasons to choose Russian weapons over others. The report states that India told U.S Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland that other alternatives were costlier and that Russian companies were willing to set up joint ventures with Indian companies, which U.S defence arms are reluctant. The report said India informed U.S of the drawbacks of alternatives to Russian weapons. Watch this video for more.
