The United States has reportedly pressurised Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on the issue of a full UN membership bid. However, Abbas rejected the US' requests to not move forward with a vote at the United Nations Security Council on accepting Palestine as a full member of the UN, as per Axios, quoting four Palestinian, US, and Israeli officials.
