Bihar Assembly Elections 2020: Voting in 3 phases; Results on 10th November
Election Commission of India has announced the poll dates for the Bihar Assembly election. Polling in the state will be held in three phases and the results will be announced on 10th of November. The first phase of the poll will be held on 28th October, the second phase on 3rd November and the last phase on 7th November. Chief Election Commissioner Sunil Arora said that the number of phases for the 243-member Bihar assembly polls has been reduced keeping in mind security arrangements, festive season and the Covid pandemic threat. The polls are being held in the shadow of the Covid pandemic and the Election Commission has arranged 7 lakh hand sanitisers, 46 lakh masks, 6 lakh PPE kits, 6.7 lakh face shields, 23 lakh pairs of hand gloves for the same. The battle for Bihar will be a two way battle between the NDA that includes JDU, BJP, LJP and HAM facing off against the RJD and Congress led Grand Alliance. Watch the full video for all the details.
