With a spate of mucormycosis, or 'black fungus', infections among Covid-19 patients spreading alarm, Pushkar Saran recounted his ordeal with the two diseases. The 42-year-old claims that administration of too many steroids during Covid treatment led to the fungal infection, and he started experiencing numbness on the left side of his face.
