A consignment of three million doses of Russia's Covid-19 vaccine Sputnik V landed in Hyderabad on June 1. The consignment arrived from Russia on a specially chartered freighter RU-9450 which touched down at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport. The shipment consists of 56.6 tonnes of vaccines, informed GMR Hyderabad Air Cargo. The Sputnik V vaccine is required to be kept at a temperature of -20 C. Dr Reddy's laboratories got approval from DCGI for restricted emergency use of the vaccine. Dr Reddy's is in a pact with Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) to sell the first 250 million vials of Sputnik V in India. Watch the full video for more.
