Nitish Rana's brilliant half-century guided Kolkata Knight Riders to 172 for five in their 20 overs. In reply, a fine innings from Ruturaj Gaikwad and some late hitting from Ravindra Jadeja guided Chennai Super Kings to a comprehensive 6-wicket win. Ruturaj returned as the top-scorer with 72 runs of 53 balls.
